Welcome to Warriors for Peace!
Warriors For Peace is a men's educational organization, sponsored by Building Peaceful Families, opposed to violence against women.
In 2004 Building Peace Families sponsored the first Fatherhood Conference. The conference was attended by over four hundred men. The excitement grew out of the conference urging men to speak out against violence against women.
We believe that violent men can change--otherwise we might as well pack up our bags and forget the whole thing. Any previously violent man is welcome if he has taken responsibility for his past actions. He has paid society's price or made amends. He has completed his treatment program and is recommended by his counselor. And he doesn't hide the fact that he was once violent.
